Drivers

GEMCAP® offers excellent contracting opportunities for drivers, and team drivers with competitive pay rates and excellent bonus plans for performance and longevity. We are committed to the safety and success of our drivers. At GEMCAP®, we provide adequate and proper training, the right tools and equipment, appropriate support systems, and a thorough orientation of our company policies and procedures that will help our drivers perform all functions and duties of their job in a safe, legal, and professional manner.

Qualification Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age required per DOT regulations
  • 2 years of driving experience preferred
  • Class A Commercial Driver’s License
  • HazMat Endorsement not required, but preferred
  • TWIC ID (Transportation Worker Identification Card)
  • Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical
  • Physical activities include: standing, lifting (up to 25 lbs.), twisting, turning, climbing a ladder, etc.
  • Must be able to provide an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Other requirements may apply

Owner Operators

Owner Operators that would like to join our Lease Program can take advantage of our low commission rates. With load pay ratios starting at 80%, our goal is to keep you on board with us so that you can experience working for a company that values its drivers. Some of the benefits include:
